I actually snapped pics of these cars as the owner actually put this on

The silver car the spoiler is home made and has plexi/rivets and the mustang looks like a kitchen table hanging off the back  Not sure if you can see but they had the exhaust coming out of the ground effects in front of the rear wheels on the silver car. 4 tips per side :o

i'm gonna have to post up some pics for you to mock mercilessly when i finally get around to making my 97 Cavalier more aerodynamic..

The massive amounts of power those cars produce demand rear spoilers to help keep them glued down and streetable...... :p

Somecars BEG for the tuner treatment. Not those one's!:D :D

Kept lookin at a new Impala yesterday and I swear it'd look tits with ground effects and a tall deck spoiler:D

Maybe the Mustang driver eats outside often and that spoiler also serves as a nice seating for 4 giant TV tray???

Looks like the Mustang driver backed into something on the drivers side with that rear aircraft carrier. Should have installed feelers on it.

I guess I'll play devils advocate :p Most of these guys are probably younger, without a lot of extra $$ to buy their dream car, and just have to make do with what they have. I remember my bondo filled, jacked up, 73 Nova was my pride and joy when I was 18. It was a POS that couldn't get out of it's own way, but it was mine. At least these guys are working on cars, and if given a few years, and the benefit of the doubt, they will probably come around. Just my $.02

Yeah and these same guys will turn out just like chip foose

Nice positive thinking though. I know a few guys with jacked up hoopties.

I know what you mean. I had a 71 Lemans "Sport" as my first car. It looked like a GTO but only had a 350 2BBL. I did the body work and had my uncle paint it black. It was beautiful car but couldn't get out of it's own way. I would refer to it as "all show no go". I remember getting beat by a Saturn in it, lol. Same deal, I didn't have thousands of $$ to spend on making it go fast back then.

some people do stuff like that to mock the whole tuner culture, too.
that's what i hope is going on with that Olds with the clear rear spoiler..
i guess that particular spoiler could be a tribute to his local Modified stock car racer, too, since some of them have clear spoilers so the driver can see behind him during a race.

The Oldsmobile has so much downforce it's squashing the rear tire...sitting still!

I love the way those guys put money into ground effects and fart cans but leave the stock plain-Jane weenie-wheels on them.

I was young once too and I never f'd up a car like that! Sure I had my moments, but the worst I ever did was put some wording across my windshield.

There's way more ugly stuff out there. I'll see if I can find some pics.
