keyway width of harmonic balancer

.186'' or 4.73mm
Used a digital mic and a clean low mile balancer for measurement

The Eagle forged cranks take a wider key than the stock cranks. FYI:smile:

.186" is the accuracy I was hoping for...thanks.

And thanks for info on Eagle crank...not applicable here though

87action...just wanted to thank you again for the keyway width. I made a piece of wood that slid into the keyway between the crank nose & balancer and slid it in until it bumped into the key in the crank. I could see through about 1/4" gap, and was able to rotate the balancer so that the keyway and key were aligned.

Had some unrelated delays at that point but yesterday, using an Autozone balancer installation tool kit, slid the balancer onto the crank nose with absolutely no difficulties.

Thanks.

Bob
