I am installing the stock intercooler and have this piece ,,doe it have anything to do with the intercooler ,,or is this part of the air filter housing ,,those are the only thing that have been removed,,,,I think
It's the center support for the grille. It has nothing to do with your stock location intercooler, or your air filter.
If you ever go to a front mount you must remove the support, as it's in the way.
The support is, IMO, useless, so if it's off, you might just as well leave it off.
