ummm I think if they can reach the pedals they can drive at my local strip. As far as I know there is no age limit since I ran there when I was 15. What do they do about Jr. dragsters?

New england Dragway = 16 with both parents consent on legal form.
18 without.

Same at Route 66 Raceway in Joliet, IL... NHRA

TCR class at my track is for 13 to 16 years old. Both parents consent, drive the family car down 1/8 track only (track is 1/4 mile), with a licensed adult in the passenger seat. All licensed teens aloud to run what they bring.

Derek itching for a pass and Momsie won't consent? Poor kid. We would have just went ahead and street raced. At least at the track it's alot safer that.

The last NHRA track I raced at says 16-18 YO's need a parent consent. No pre-16 at all in doored cars. And you needed a DL to race so there was no way a pre-16 was going to sneak into a RED type car. I'm assuming they didn't enforce the rules on street nights as thats all you see is teenagers in ricemobiles. I'm thinking its pretty much up to an individual track as to what the age limit is.
