What is the best assembly lube for engine rebuild?

Torco assembly lube is the best one that I have used. Might be a little hard to find on the east coast. I got mine in a high performance VW store. The company is located on the west coast in Santa Fe Springs,Ca.

There is one called LubriPlate or something like that...I think I saw it at NAPA...
 
used most all of them but i like the stuff from autozone it is clear but it sticks real good ...being clear you can see any trash at all that may get in it during assembly and i have built a few that have set up fo long periods of time and inspecting them the lube was still in place.

its behind the counter just ask for cam and assembly lube...comes in a red tube....good stuff
 
i use GM EOS you should be able to buy it at any GM dealer for about 4.50 a bottle it is what gm recommend for assembly odf an engine

I also used GM EOS. Very good stuff, Very thick, sticks to every thing.
