I have the FE3 suspension system, sport option on my 1987 Grand National. Does anyone know what this option is? Is it different size sway bars and upgraded shocks from a stock Buick Regal?

I thought the FE3 was a Olds' only thing. I guess not.

The FE3 was supposed to be the step-up from the F41 Suspension.

The FE3x was the Olds Cutlass that looks an aweful lot like the GN's, and it's ALSO the same car thar achieved .97g on the skid pad using MOSTLY stock pieces. Mainly those used in the FE3 suspension

The FE3 option was standard equipment on all 1984-1987 Buick turbos. Didn't make a difference if it was a GN. On our cars it is bigger sway bars, firmer shocks, firmer springs and 15" wheels.

Within a single body line the same option code means the same thing......FE3 on a G-body Cutlass and FE3 on a G-body Regal will have the EXACT same items.
