Not sure about the black box, maybe some sort of timing control box. But the braided line to the TB looks to be a 7th injector set up.

thats definatly a 7th injector on the vacume block, i could be wrong but that black box by the cruise control is the controller box for the injector.

thanks for the info guys, that would possibly explain the fp gage, on a T'd fitting, all that car needs is a fp reg and it becomes a perfect specimen of a gn

The box is a cleverly hidden hobbs switch that controls the 7th injector. It's just hokey ATR crap. The injector spray pattern through the vacumn block is crap and it just drips fuel into the intake.

what are those little metal things on that envelope in the last picture??

HEY...what's up with the dome light?

Was there an option or something for different lights? Looks like it has map lights built into it...but I've never seen a GN with one like that before.

Dome light

Mark
My GN has the same dome light with map lights on the sides. I believe it is factory, there is a special bracket behind the headliner beacause the light sits further forward than the normal dome light.

kshef,
I believe those metal things are from the keys after being punched.

Not many new car buyers form the 60's 70's, 80's, 90's Huh???
Those metal tabs are the punch outs for the ignition and trunk keys.

The controller, as stated earlier is an ATR 7th injector controller. Notice the green stripe injector on the vacuum block.
Just another hocky gimmick.

as soon as you said punch keys it came me what a jack a$$ i was, sometimes we look to hard and overlook the obvious.

My turn to ask a question.

Where do you find that build sheet that they show in the bottom of the (2nd to last) photo? I have the one from my driver door which resembles the sideways one in the picture.
