What is your fuel pressure at idle?

I finally replaced the line to my fuel gauge and it is showing I only have about 20-25 psi. When I floor it, the pressure rises with boost like it should. With my Boost-a-Pump at full tilit the pressure hits about 35. I tried adding more pressure with my regulator but it showed no changes even after turning the regulator 2 full turns. SM shows I'm running rich under WOT. Faulty gauge?

Two thoughts on that psi.
1. Was your performance really bad before you installed the fpg? With presure that low, it must have sucked.
2. Are you sure that the fpg is accurate? I had a rail mount gauge that went bad and showed goofy readings.

You should be looking for 43 psi at idle with the vacuum line off (with a known-good gauge).

The gauge was good before the line layed on the alternator and had a hole cut in it. It was reading around 40-42 at idle. That was several months ago. I finally called and ordered a new line and these are my new readings. My performance was the usual. It's weird though, such low readings, but reading rich. I was only running about 9 psi though. O2 counts were about 880, no knock. I found it weird the readings didn't change even after adjusting the pressure on the regulator. My problem may be electric related. I've found that when using my turn signals, pressure drops each time the light blinks and when the radio is on, I have even less pressure. Any thoughts?

lose the electric fuel pressure gauge and get a mechanical one!
