What kind of fuel w/ SMC Kit

Just bought used kit & wondering what to use.I can get methanol 3. gal., but heard you can use this,because denature alcohol is 11. a gal

The recommended alcohol to be used with the older SMC kits is denatured PLUS the addition of a lubricant called Klotz.

You may want to contact Steve at SMC and confirm what alcohol to use.

Methanol is more corrossive, and can/will pose an issue with a "metal" pump submerged in it. Sorry. Is what it is. Buy the 11.00 a gallon stuff.

If you run straight methanol, you will kill that pump in a few months if your lucky. The new SMC kits feature an external pump so the methanol isnt an issue.

Thanks man , I want your kit , but got a good price on this one.And I sold my 10 sec. LT-1 & bought we-4, so new to turbo game.But was stock, when I bought it,& think its coming along pretty good.
