What kind of seal to use on exhaust valves

I have ported stock heads and bought after market valves. Do I have the machine shop machine the exhaust guides the same diameter as the intake and just run the felpro intake valve seals on both? Again, I have after market valves, so I don't have the oil (pump) groove in the exhaust valves like the stock valves did. I plan on some track and mostly street driving, so I will need some kind of seal on the exhaust valves now.

I got a hold of my machinist and he said just go with the same as the intake for seals. Anyone here have any input to the contrary?

The machine shop used the same seals on intake and exhaust on mine.

I prefere viton seals on both intake and exhaust. Your machinist should have a box of them on his shelf. If not .......ask him what he'll use to warrenty for use?
