Really just a matter of preferance and the parts you have handy...
Most that run an aftermarket MAF run either the LT-1 or LS1. The LS1 measures 3.5" and is easily found and relatively inexpensive. The Z06 is 3.75" is a little bigger and not as common, unless you are moving ungodly amounts of air cant see it really flowing that much more air than an LS1.
I'd say the LS1, just because it is cheaper and more easily found. Unless you are running an aftermarket engine management system or an extender type chip, your ECU will only read it up to 255 anyway.
