Ditto! Very good guy to work with and very helpful. Check the site, shoot him an email with any q's.

I run a either a Thrasher 92 or a 108 depending on what gas I have in the tank. Works excellent. :D

Thrashers don't work in hot air ecms. Just want to point that out, they are set up for intercooled cars only. So, even with an 86 or 87 ecm they would be way too rich and I wouldn't recommend using one. Just my two cents. Red armstrong will burn one for a hot air, but I'd go with Eric he's great to work with.

Jim Testa can make a chip up for you if you give him the info. I will be aquisitioning him to burn my chip as soon as I get a motor together!!! lol...Other than that, Jay Carter can also put a nice combo together for you from what I have heard. Good luck!

Someone forgot to tell my 85 with an 87ecm and MAF and another hotair here that it doesn't work. Mine works fine and the highest my O2's have been were 820mv @ wot. This was with the stock hotair MAF and a resistor in place of the MAT. I have since been running an 87 MAF and MAT (almost a year now) and it all still runs the same. We are at a 3900ft altitude here and the only problem I ever had with running rich was with a Red's chip. I went thru 4 of them thru Postons when I first got my GN and each one of them made the car belch black from start to shutoff. After a Joe Lubrant chip, never had any chip/rich problems again. My O2's are closer to 780 @wot with either chip.:D

I really liked my Max Effort for 009s. It had a ton of programmability for a stock ECM. Probably the best chip out there for a street car. Changing timing and fuel on the fly was nice. Unfortunately when I had the chip out one day, I smashed it in the door.

I just ordered a Turbotweak chip for my 60lb injectors. It has some timing and fuel adjustments and sounds like a great deal for $75. This is the chip everyone pointed me to when I did my research.

I've also had good luck with Jay Carter and Red Armstrong. I really like red's race chip and will probably run it at the strip if he makes one for the 60s. It has a ton of timing and a ton of fuel and is pretty much an all out track chip for 116 octane only.

I've never had a problem with running too rich with the 87 ecm and chip but my car is intercooled. Make sure to tell the chip burner you're not intercooled. If it's not right the first time, most chip makers will make changes for a small price.
