What should I do?

I have an 87 T-type with about 8K into the motor, and 3K into the trans, and at least another 5K with XFI and other crap. The body is rusting out as we speak, and I couldn't get near what I have into it. I am thinking about parting out the drivetrain and other goodies on it, And then buying ANOTHER buick. So what should I do? I think my balls went to deep into this car. I also lost my job so if anyone in the Garner, NC area is looking for a mechanic please let me know. Also $5 hand-jobs

Drive it until you can find another Regal that isn't a rust bucket. Then transfer all of your parts from the rust pile.

Or part out the rust pile, keep what you want and sell the rest.

Or find a TR without an engine or trans but with everything else and use your parts to complete it.

I take it you're now in NC, you should be able to find something good. I used to live in Fayetteville, I owned a straight rust free 84 Regal with the carbed 3.8 N/A that I sold to some guy in town for $2k. It would have been a good candidate for a turbo 6 swap.

I was going to buy a rear clip from G-body, but I have no where to do the swap at. Plus I would like to paint the car all the same color once i got the clip but I dont have the facilities to do that either.
