I never gave my MAF a moments thought until it broke about 2 miles from home. I limped home with it.

Should I carry a cam sensor (the cap part only I assume)?

What about a crank sensor, I have heard of those going but is it likely?

I really don't have much with me in the car at all. Am I crazy or just normal.

I should be carrying a spare Crank sensor, I've had 2 go out and leave me on the side of the road. Other than that I have spare fuses, a few pieces of wire, jumper cables, and on long trips I take the ecm and the maf from the car I'm not in. If all else fails I have a "spare" tow strap in case the first one breaks!

Carry a AAA card. Cheaper and easier to store. When my car breaks, I just have it towed home.

Well, besides the spare tire...

I carry a spare crank sensor, O2 sensor, ECM, PROM, jumper cables, rudimentary hand tools, assorted fuses and a quart of oil and trans. fluid.

Like that old Boy Scout addage, "Be Prepared." And no matter what, you'll still get stuck every once in a while. :p
