I am picking up a new 9.5" convertor, and was wondering your opinion about what stall speed I should order to work best with my 6131bb turbo. Look at my signature and let me know. Thanks Dan

I was told the 6131 DBB will spool about the same as a GT32. I have a GT32 with a 0 Pump(3200) Vigilante 5 disc LU. It spools instantly and when the converter is locked in 3rd gear, there is basially no slippage. The best of both worlds IMO. But I think you could use anywhere from a 2800-3200 converter with that turbo. As long as it is a 9.5" or 10" unit.

What brand converter are you looking at?

A 2800 9.5" would work fine. But you could go a little more if you wanted to. I had a 2800 10" in the car and it was about the same as with the 3200. The 3200 seems to spool a little faster. But it is hard to tell the difference to me.

Dont go less than a 3200 stall unless you plan on that being your last turbo you'll ever have. Just get a 9.5" 3200 LU converter once and be done with it.

Thanks guys. I have a 9.5" pro torque 3000 stall coming. It should wake it up. Cant wait to hit the track.

6131 or 6152?

Sorry i'm asking about so many turbos lately , but just need some more info . How much of a difference between these two? Will a 3000 LU be right ? Thanks for the help.

Enough for the 31/57 a little small for the 52/62.
