What things can cause knock?

Hey there. I'm just wondering what thing can cause detonation on these cars?

I'm getting lots of it, and I would like to get rid of it.

Can higher temps cause it?(my car runs at about 210 after one hour)-----Yes I need a new rad.Next year.

How about a bad tranny? Mine just started to shift really fuuny. It up shifts, down shifts when ever. The only way to get it back to normal is to punch it. Then I get lots of knock.

How about crappy plugs? I have bsh platnum in there. yes I know i need delco.

Are there any other things that can cause detonation? I know tuning, but are there any other causes of detonation?

If you let it down shift hard it will problem knock alot, make sure its not false knock. The plug you have are not the best plugs for these cars and are not great for the higher rpms , plugs might die at high rpm. I know if you have a leak at the turbo and intake you will get some knock. Lean or rich can cause it , more less just lots of tuning.
