i want to get this one running as fast as i can . but this winter im going to build a real good block for it . any help would be nice thanks

What he is trying to say is can he buy new std rings and put in the motor and new bearings to get him buy, because he needs the car running and does not want it to smoke up the place.

If we hone the cyl real good and put new rings in do you think this will work or even seal right.

thanks guys

help my little bro out:)

you just came up with a hard question for people that dont know anything about the motor you have.

you want the cam and lifters out of my hotair motor for $75

its small but it ran good...it a speed pro cam 194/204 same cam i went 13.0's at 105 with

im going to go to a bigger cam in my i/c motor and plan to put my 204-214 cam out of my i/c motor into my hotair motor

im going to go 208-224 in the i/c motor.

its still in the motor so let me know if you want it so i can pull it out.
you'll both heard the car and seen it run with that cam in it.

later Mr. no friends..:p

PegLeg,

If I were you (but I'm not--I've got Posi), here's what I'd do to get me through till the motor gets in this winter...

Put some 20-50 Synthetic oil in it, along with some Lucas brand oil stabilizer----this will decrease any smoking significantly.

===========================================

This will save you some $$ now. Let us know how you're doing.

HTH

:)
