Thats not a standard 76 Q trim right? wasntit one of those Y2K turbos?
Just didnt like the way the turbo worked on my car, Not a big motor at 249CI not a big cam in it either, I believe i will make more power with the 76 than the 80,Just because of combo

Artie,

I'll definitely be at the shop this morning, comon up...... we'll do lunch at Hooters today!! Sorry I didn't get back to you last nite, had a customer show up from out of town and got sidetracked. I realized it on the way home and didn't have your phone number on me.

Not sure what you consider a standard 76, it is a Turbonetics version that certainly makes a lot of power. It's definitely not a Y2K. My new turbo, pictures that I posted on the other board, turbo-buicks, is closer to a Y2K. Combination is everything, like I said in another post, if the turbo was solely responsible for HP, then an 88 turbo should be able to run 8's on a stock block..... ;)

No argument there, You prove is makes great power.
But was wondering if it was a standard T-4 style turbo. Or one of there "Super T" series turbos

It bolts to a standard T4 flange, guess that makes it a T4 and it definitely is not a Super T, although it looks similar, just smaller. However you want to look at it, it's one bad azz turbo and what really makes it unique at this level....... it spools!!

What does that one look like?

Step away from the computor Ted........ walk out to the garage and take a good look at your new turbo............
