all the trunk spatter I've found has white specs in it. The guy at the counter told me they are all like that.

The commercial name for "splatter paint" is ZOLOTONE.
Here's the site link. About $40.00 qt.
Zolatone
It's waterbase, so you have to have the surface at least primered, or you WILL have rust pop thru....
You can use thier top coat clear, or do like we do:
Mix about 25% activated clear in the last coat. Makes it much more durable, and less prone to dirt ingestion. Takes a gun tip of at least 1.8... Preferably a 2.1...

Hey E, how 'ya been doing bro. I'm not really dealing in the TR parts these days, just trying to sell off the few remaining parts that weren't stolen a few years back. I'm gathering info in here so I can do a mini-resto on an '87 GN I bought recently. Speaking of, I gotta go ask a few more questions about this project. Take care buddy & let me know if I can help you with anything.

Thanks for the info Chuck.

Been doing pretty good. Was in an accident in Nov. 08 and still awaiting my settlement on that. Back still acts up every now and then. Not as bad as it was originally but sometimes puts me out of commission for a bit.
