hey guys,
thanks for the great turnout....was awesome watching you guys run...just wish my car was together to have some fun also
results? it was an ugly final but henry tabios jr. took 1st and dean took 2nd....dean had the hole shot but something went wrong on his side....and henry forgot to turn on the juice from the get go
)Yup Dean made 2nd but would had easily took first. Henry's Mustang went 12.2, something went wrong with Dean's car the last run sounded like the car was missing, but the first round was me and Dean, that's when I went all the way I did (YIPPIE ) a 11.9 and Dean did a 11.4. Greg and Gerold was in the upper 12's that night but go bumped out of the quick 8 and went on to the brackets, and I think Gerold took third but no prize.
Well I will have to watch out with my times (no roll bar for me )
But it was fun turn out was big lots and lots of racers and spectators.
i wonder what would have happened if both cars broke down during the final run....would the car who went the farthest down the track win or would 1st and 2nd just tally the money up and split it right in half?
That's a good question Fugly!! Cograt's Dean, and welcome to the 11 sec club Jackson!!!! I just finished changing my headgasket....... again!! I think I'll be running race gas from now on.
I heard the black turbocharged notchback crashed that day. I'm pretty sure thats KBs friends car. I heard it rolled about 6 times. I'm glad the driver was ok. Did you guys see this?
I was talking to Ryan in the tech line. He was saying he has a TR also. My friend Kimo was helping him from Aiea, so I guess he knows KB also. Didn't actually see the crash though, glas he was alright. The car didn't look too hot though.
from what it looked like....at the top end...the rear swung around and thats when things got crazy...maybe a engine mount broke loose? since both motor and trans are all on the rear wheels...hard to say exactly what happened...
