Hi everyone, I just registered and just bought my 86 WH1 T-Type from my father. Its getting painted in Aug and I am thinking of putting different wheels on it also. I would like to know what you guys think would look best. Thanks for the help!!!!

i don't know if im the best person to be welcoming you, but im a new member as well, check out the featured rides in gnttype.org, theres bound to be a WH-1 in there with custom wheels. Do you have the stock ones on it now?

Welcome to the world of Turbo Buicks. :D As I'm sure you've found out by now, it is a fun ride! :)

Wheels....you lookin to use the car for street, drag race or a handling machine?

Center Line Telstars look cool....a clean, simple look. I have Convo Pro's on my GN and I love the way they look, a little more complex looking than the Telstars. Weld Draglites and Pro Stars look awesome, but they are very common,

Wheels for a car built for handling (16" or 17" diameter) can be expensive, but so many of them look cool  try contacting NOS John WE4, he sells wheels and can probably get ya a good deal.

Here's some pics of my car w/Convo Pros:

Good luck with your ride :)

I think 16" GNX style wheels look cool on a Designer Series car.

JMO, though.

Happy motoring.

Welcome to the board. I have a wh1 car and I have center lines but don't know what type they are. I will include a link of the WH1 webpage where there is a picture of my car. I may be interested in selling mine. I want to but big tires on the back and the offset in to deep for the tries I'm using. Here is the link:
