What's a fair price for a hotair drivetrain?

I have a friend that wants to buy my complete factory hotair motor for his 85 T-type. This includes the axle, hydroboost, and motor and tranny (tranny is shot but since I work at a tranny shop it would cost me $100 to make it new again.). I told him I would trade his GN1 heads and he said no but he would give me $1600 (go figure, I could buy a NEW set for that much). I guess my question is would anyone else trade a decent motor/tranny/brakes/axle for a good set of heads. I do feel this is what's holding me back from breaking the mid 10 second barrier and I have everything to support the GN1s except the money. 120mph traps on pumpgas and alky sound awefully temping. I have to run at least 125mph traps to be competitive with the fastest street cars around here and I don't plan on ever converting to the IC setup. My dad's stage II is for the real serious cars so all I need to run is 10s.

Take the money and buy new heads with it. I paid that for my whole car (course the guy I bought it from wasn't too bright ).
