I'm still very saddened each time I think of my good friend Eric Schertz's passing...Never for one second I thought it would end so unexpectedly!...But here's the essential question of this thread: Now that it'll be a month this coming Monday (the 16th), does someone know what is going to happen to Dynotech now? Will the remaining employees buy the business and keep it operational?...Or will it close?...I sure hope not...Knowing Liz (Eric's wife), I respect her very much and I do not feel comfortable in calling her to ask her about this...but if someone here knows, it would greatly be appreciated!

Thank you,

Claude.

Eric's car is for sale

Eric's car is for sale...and I think I read in that post that one of the guys from the shop helping to list the car on here for sale also mentioned selling stuff from the shop as well.

According to what I know, there is no motor in Eric's car at the moment. Both him and I got screwed by Keith Mease as he deliberately kept us waiting and waiting (more than a year in my case) for him to do some machining work on both our engines. I was lucky that Eric was be able to get all my stuff back, but I'm not sure he got his...If he did not, the car might be for sale as a roller...That's all I know for now, but if someone else knows what's going to happen next, it would be nice to post it here...

thank you,

Claude.

heard of similar pain from Mease Performance

Hi Claude,
it's a bit of a tangent...I first heard of Mease's stuff (big stock location intercooler) when it was written about in GM Hi-Tech Performance magazine in 2005(?). I then saw that intercooler and his ATR style 3" downpipe at Raceway Park NJ Buick Performance Weekend. When I asked around, the consensus was to stay away. He'll make you pay up front in full and hopefully you get something in a year. It was at that time I checked in with Precision Turbo & Engine for that stuff. I am surprised that Mease Performance is still messing with people and their turbo buicks. I thought he just faded away...

Pm'ed you some info, so I wouldn't really change the subject in the thread.

I miss MEASE. He was a real creator for parts on our cars, and is missed more and more everyday! He took forever to deliver but at least his products were made, created, and delivered by him. He wasn't the wholesale vender like the ones today who dont create anything and are only a middle man for profit. I gave 110% feedback to him, his welding skills are discustingly clean/smooth and I was very happy with his products!!

I called last week to find out if they whir still operating and if I needed an appointment to bring my car in and the guy said “just call one or two days ahead so that we can fit you in the schedule”
I hope this means that they will stay in business.
