I am interested in putting 18" wheels on my Buick. What is the proper backspacing for 9 or 9.5" rears and 8 or 8.5 fronts? Any help is appreciated.

18's

A good set up wood be 18x8 w/4" BS and a 235 45 18 or 18x8.5 w/4.5" BS and a 245 40 18 in front . Then for the rears go with an 18x9.5 w/4.75 BS and a 275/285/295 35 18. My GN has 18's and there's pics in my sig if you haven't seen it.

Car looks hot!

Your car sits great,Who makes those rims, they look like stock 16in sizes.

Looks like Simmons wheels, big $'s
My stupid brother has them on his VW Gulf and are powdercoated the color of his car, rims and tires are worth more then his whole car:rolleyes:

Oh yea Do you have any rubbing issues with your car? It looks like its lowered in the front.
They are Simmons OM series, I have very little rubbing in the front. The car is lowered with belltech 2" drop spindles in front and belltech 1.5" springs in rear. I also shaved about 3/16 of the rear wheel opening lip and now I have no rubbing in the rear.If I wanted to be a little more conservative I would do an 18x8 w/4" BS and a 235 45 18 in front and 18x9.5 w/4.75 BS and a 285 35/40 18 . You should have no rubbing probs even lowered.
