Thinking of powdercoating them. Any one do it yet? pro cons? and what color? thanks

Just a little warning, make sure you find a powdercoater that is experienced with car parts.I learned my lesson the hard way, they tried to bake the old coating off of mine and completely melted them down to nothing.

I have done a bunch over the years and I usually recommend liquid painting them.
First they are commonly nicked up or scratched.
They may warp some but usually bend right back to shape.
Since the do take some abuse paint is much easier to repair and match.

Wouldn't it be better if they got anodized? Has anyone had them done? I am also in the process of wanting to get them refinished.
