FWIW I run Welds 15x10 rims with 4.5 BS with the MT 28x10.5x15's and they fit fine and dont rub.

Hope that helps, best of luck.

Did you have to roll the fender lips or notch the frame? Or is everything un-touched back there? And are your tires ET DRAGS ro ET STREETS (the 10.5 et streets are 1" narrower than the 10.5 et drags). Thanks.

>>> No I didnt have to roll the fender lip or notch the frame. I just have two airbags in the springs thats it and with the BSing they do not rub at all. The tires I have are the ET Drags (slicks).

Hope that helps.....best of luck.

Take care.

So with a shorter tire like the 275/50/15 tire air bags wouldn't be needed right? I'm about ready to order some Pro Stars and it's a toss up between the 8' or 10" rims. Would like the 10 mounted with some Nittos with out cutting or rolling.

I have 15x10 4 1/2 BS Weld Drag Stars and I have run 295 50 15 Yokohamas and now have 275 60 15 Nitto DRs. If you hit a good dip in the road, it will bounce down on them a tad UNLESS you have enough air in the bags. ESPECIALLY if you have people in the passenger rear seat. BUT they look so awsome, it's totally livable. Wheel well lips are NOT rolled either.

WOW! I didn't know that a 10" rim would fit. I am running an 8" rim with 4 1/2" bs an it is nice and centered in the wheelwell, I never thought a 10 would fit. Altought with my set up on my cutlass:eek: the wheel lip actually is lower than the top of the tire, just seems that it would rub with the car sitting over the tire a little:rolleyes:

Further, FWIW - I run the same wheels with with M/T slicks 29.5X10.5" and I HAD to remove the fenderwell lip and notch the frame. The car squats pretty hard on those 15+psi transbrake launches. :D:cool:
