A few pictures from my '78 Regal stocker's engine. It leaned out and melted all three .060 over forged J&E pistons on the right side. The exhaust valve slammed into the #4 piston and bent the valve. You can see the impression on top of that piston. The pins were seized in the pistons. The block was scrap.

That's some serious destruction. What carb were you running and how many pounds of boost ?
