After turning car off,at what engine temp does fan delay relay kick on?
I'm wondering because I noticed that after shutting my car off after a couple of under boost runs, that according to my scan tool, my engine temp was at 198 degrees, but my radiator fan was not kicked on. At what engine temp does the fan delay relay turn the fan on with car off? I know that when I restarted the car, the fan kicked on & the temp came back down. When I'm driving it stays around 180, I guess after those two high boost runs the temp climbed up on me,especially in 100 degree weather!! I guess I should have let the car cool down first before shutting it off.
