I posted this question a month ago and was advised that Trudesign near Denver could do it. Their website doesn't appear to be correct nor does the phone number found

Anybody got another source or a confirmed good phone number for Trudesign??

Thanks, Bob

Bob,

The phone number I have for Trudesign is 1-800-621-6436. I hate to saythis, but I dodn't think they can widen aluminum T-type wheels. Only the steel GN kind. I had them do a pair of GN wheels for me and they do fantastic work.

Another source might be Stockton Wheel in Stockton, CA. They have a website.

Good Luck,

James West

Yes they can widen, T-Type wheels, but to retain correct backspacing you end up with extra width on outside of rims. I have not seen any pictures of these done like this.

I am having T-Type rims narrowed as we speak for my front racing wheels. Going from 7-inch width to 5.5-inch width, this does not change backspacing only center of tire which will increase scrub radius.

I also had a pair of GTA rims modified by Trudesign. They increased the width to 8.5-inches and changed the backspacing. They look great.

If they can not do the modifications, I do not know if anyone can do it.
