Nope, what Blazer406 has circled is the continuity switch, that just completes the circuit, which just so happened to break on my visor today while I was re-installing them after being recovered . Give me a few minutes, and I'll post a pic.
I don't win a prize either.........I got the connections backwards. Probably doesn't make a difference. But what I had marked as ground is actually where the 12V+ goes. Also, be sure the ground is hooked up to the swivel before putting visor back in the car. The guy who re-covered mine didn't have it hooked up. After I JB Welded that continuity connection back on, and tried it, the lights still didn't work
Ended up having to pull everything back apart. There's a small connector at the other end of the ground wire that goes on the end of the swivel.
