I have an adjustable apply pin installed in the trans and need to know how to adjust it to try and take up some slack at the 1-2 shift, that is if the frictions ain't toasted.
Do I REMOVE or INSTALL spacer(s) to tighten up the shift and EXACTLY where is the spacer installed? ie between the servo and servo piston?
Yesterday I installed an .080" spacer between the servo and servo piston and as far as I can tell the servo cover still can be pushed in at least 3/16", nor did it help the shift!
I have read on this list of measurments from .030" to .100" would be okay for the servo play.

Would appreciate help here,

Thanks,
HOW

that system is junk and causes band breakage if the cushion spring is removed.get a servo extension pin and grind the pin till you can just install the servo retaing ring and then grind off an additional .060".if your looking for trouble ,leave out the cushion spring.
