Been waiting for months for these. Anyone know what is up with these "new" turbos? I see one on the full throttle website... but not much info yet.

Technically we can do them now but we are trying to get a water line hookup kit together and also trying to get the proper oil feed fitting setup. Plus the supply of the units are pretty limited right now. I'll keep ya posted on when I can officially sell them. We should be good to go in the upcoming spring here. Trust me I want one myself!

What is the difference between a GARRETT BB turbo, and say, an Innovative BB turbo with a GT compressor wheel. The newer GT stuff just applies to the compressor side, right? This GT business has been out for awhile but I am still not 100% clear on it. The main reason I ask is because I am thinking about having Innovative rebuild mine into a GT76 X trim sometime in the future. If this is off topic in relation to the post then a PM would be appreciated if you can help out.

And also while I am at it, WHY AREN'T these already out there for us? What is the difference between our stuff and what everyone else uses? I thought it was all the same except for the goofy 3 bolt exhaust housings we use.

I don't want to start anything here but I looked into the Garrett BB and a reliable turbo source said that the BB's were dying on GN's due to oil problems. :frown:

Mike L or Don, can you add some extra feedback on this?

I am going to be in the market for a 70bb later this spring and the Garrett WAS high on the list. At this point in time, Jacks 70BB seems to be the way to go.

I find it hard to believe the Garrett BB's were dying due to the "gN's" oil problems. To me that is a myth and a cop out. Are we saying the oil is dirty.... or there is a lack of it... what is it, makes no sense to me when I hear that statement. If we blow a head gasket or waste a motor's bearing, yes, I can see any turbo failing. We've been using and selling the Turbonetic Ball Bearing turbos for years and I have not seen any issues. I have also sold several of the Garrett BB turbos with no issues either, using them on both GN and imports. I look forward to having PTE Garrett BB turbos in the future, in the mean time, we are stilling selling the heck out of the Turbonetic and the Innovative BB turbos. Why wait when you can enjoy the benefits of BB turbos right now.... Call me anytime guys, we got em on the shelf!!! Check out the new F1 turbine wheel technology, it's the new standard of performance.
