I have a chance to get a set of the 868s. Are they better than the blue tops I already have ? What are the pros and cons of each ?

Let me know what you think.

I dont know what the differeence is but save your money. Going from 1 36#'r to another wont increase performance. The only reason to do this is if one of your current injectors has a problem

Bluetops are better because most "Off the shelf" 36# chips are burned for them and not 868. Because they have different flow characteristics, using a standard bluetop chip (like a thrasher for example) may not produce ideal performance from idle to WOT with the 868's. It may be rich on the bottom and lean up top.

I agree with UNGN and blackbuick87. Don't even bother unless there's something wrong with your current injectors. Even if there was I'd probably send them out to be checked or put the money towards a set of 009's.

All of the above are absolutely correct! It would be a huge waste of money, unless they were given to you for free. Even then, why would you make the change? I've known people who've run both, and I agree with UNGN that the "Ford Bluetops" are actually the better of the two, if you can even tell the difference. Either way, it's a moot point, in that you really should not do anything until you're ready to move up to the appropriate next step, which would probably be the 50's. Changing from the 36's you have to even a 009 42.5 would be such a small step that it would hardly warrant doing it, IMO. However, this all depends on your end goals.
