New to alky so just wondering which is better --to go ahead and by smc or to build the system myself.Any ideas ..??

I just looked at your pic's and that does look like a factory installation --- You are using the factory overflow tank ? Very thoughtfull -- I am going to start gathering parts.

If you go to www.alliedelec.com and search hobbs as the manufacturer, you can find a 15psi hobbs switch for around $15. Check out part #611-3021

If your new to alky, start going and reading the threads in this section..take a couple hours/days and familiarize yourself. this will eventually guide you..hopefully.

I made these becuase of the having to open the hood to tune issues..so you can call it an in-between both systems. And drops the install time a couple hours.

I like the shureflow pump personally..
