Which paint do you guys use for painting an 87 GN dash? I currently have the dash out, going to reinstall the factory under dash wiring and I figured it would be a good time to paint the dash.

I used SEM products. First wash the dash really well and dry. Then use SEM Vinyl prep and then SEM paint. I personally use medium slate gray 15873

Did you find the medium slate gray to be a little lighter and less blue than the factory dash color? I have the medium slate gray and sprayed a section of a kick panel to compare to the factory dash and it looks lighter. I ordered the GBodyparts.com 1598 to try next.

Yes, that's correct, it appears lighter on cars with miles. However from my observation, very low miles car the dash is alot lighter then higher mileage used cars because I think the sun actually pulls some blue out. Additionally, the plastic pieces are almost dead on to the medium slate gray. Lastly, Im not a fan or the paint from gbody, I feel the SEM paint is better quaility.
