An electric transbrake is offered by several TR tranny builders nowdays. It operates by engaging two gears at once via an electric solenoid. Let go of the button and only the low gearset is engaged. More money to go this route (you often have to buy a deep transpan) but is generally accepted as the better unit...mainly because its release time is better.
