Well, after suffering the past couple of months after selling my TR, I am in the new house (the reason I sold the T) and am ready to get another. I have basically narrowed it down to 2 cars, but have been having a terrible time deciding between the 2. After owning only T's the past 7 years, I originally struck out looking for a GN or WE4 car. However, I can't get away from the T's, so one of the cars is an '87 T.
1. '87 T, 56k miles. Charcoal grey with chrome package. The car has a show quality paint job and looks like a 30k or so mile car. Stock except 36lb injectors, walbro, and ATR exhaust. Also has Weld wheels and new tires. ALso has stock wheels/tires.
Price $10500
2. '87 Gn 31k miles. Factory paint (very shiny). The car is absolutely mint, but could use a good engine shine/detail. The doors are tighter than any I've seen on a G-body yet. The only flaw is that the lock up silenoid seems to be going out because the convertor didn't unlock when slowing for a turn. He will have that checked out today.
Price $12750.
Both seem like good deals, but I need some thoughts about which way to go. I've always wanted a GN, but I also like to have something a "little different" to take to nats (most of you guys know that about me already).
As an aside, either car will have Simmons wheels put on in short order.
