Which wire do you hook up for scan master?

My car has a 87 GN wiring harnace and computer but, the wiring in the car is for a 84 Regal so the scan master won't just hook up at the scanner plug on the drivers side. Does anyone know which wire i could use on the computer to hook up the scan master? Thanks Tim

Serial Data output is at the ECM on C2 (connector 2) terminal A8 which should be a solid orange wire out to somewhere on your car.
