And what I mean by "street" is that you have/can jump in the car and drive it wherever you want, even at distance. IE. 3-hours to the beach, cruise for the weekend, 3-hours back home.

Just wondering?? No flame intended towards anyone.

he wont post in here so i will... but Woody Railey's (azgn) car ran 10.59 last week at the track. it was driven 60 miles to the track didnt drive home though. (blown HG). however that car has never been trailered to the track! it very rarely gets trailered home either. many runs in the mid 10s at 125 plus. always a 100+ mile round trip to the track. no issues with over heating etc. drives like a street car, launches like a race car! will make a 300 mile trip to the Pines in the summer no problem.

I know I'll be far from the fasteset, but thought I'd chime in anyway...

I daily drove my car last summer at 250+ miles per week. The combo in my sig hasn't changed since then. The car has gone just shy of 125 in the 1/4. Tack another 1 or 2 on with the .85 housing that is in the mail now. :)

I drive mine to the Vegas event every year which is about 350 miles each way. My best pass was a couple of years ago at 10.25 @135.8 MPH. That's without correcting for the track altitude (2100 ft). FWIW the car with driver weighs 3725#.

I've gone 10.69@125.8 w/1.47 60ft and drive my car almost daily during the warmer months. Always driven anywhere it has to go, including the track. Only got towed from the track once cause I split my driveshaft in two :)

A guy in Richmond bought a built stage car that hits 9s and drives home. He is scared to do that and only runs 10.4s with 20PSI of boost. Still fast, and looks good.

Mark Wallace...qwknuf 6 on the board has a stg 2 car. Drives it to Noble every year and back. Has been a best of 10.19 @ 134 mph. The car with chrome bumpers and simmons wheels. I'm sure most of you have seen it. He drives it all the time. No bar and still a 200r4.....

its a true street car, heat and a/c. both work. :D

HMMM !

I can do that. Not too much fun with a TH400, though, but, it can still cruise. Just put a nice 60's oldies station, and watch the girls skate the sidewalk in A1A:D However, Cal Fiscus and Jack "Algodon" drive their toys in the street frequently. I am sure you'll see them boys driving up and down the street at the Nationals.
