Hey guys... I just stumbled upon two chinese companies that electroluminescent gauge overlays.

they can make indiglo / reverse indiglo, blue, green, red, and maybe a few other colors.

Think about a 145mph speedo overlay that looked like this at night:

Pretty flippin sweet if you ask me!

I emailed the companies and i'm awaiting word back.. one of them lists a 500pc minimum order.. if the interest is high enough we can make this happen...

I read an article online of how to 'DIY' the indiglo lighting. It involved making a scan, and printing up a translucent copy, then applying it to a sheet of the electroluminecent sheets.

yeah.. i was going to do that but EL sheets are ****ing expensive.. i was going to get BFH to make a speedo overlay with the numbers cut completely out, then put a EL strip behind it.

I think this would be a lot more professional looking

got a response!

Thank you for your inquiry. If you want us to produce that, we would need a sample of the actual face on the car or a 1 to 1 image print.

Minimum quantity is 100pcs and the cost is 21USD each. The price is including the molding fee of the gauge. Next order will be cheaper because there wont be a molding fee included. All the accessories will be included so no additional hardware will be needed.
