Whos will be faster??

HEy guys, I have a friend who has a built LS1 with heads, headers and just about every other bolt on. He is putting it in a blazer. We have a bet going on whos car is going to be faster when it is done......Do i have a chance?? mods are in sig.

You will smoke his ass no doubt about it. Would maybe be a good match if he had it in a camaro or trans am but the weight of the blazer will restrict his potential.

S10 or full size blazer? 2WD or 4WD? Depending on who built the engine and picked the combo, it could go either way.

full size blazer, when the motor was in the camaro with out heads and cam it ran a 12.8 or .9 at the track. So I am thinking it will be close, if not in the 11s. does that sounds right?

If the heads/cam were not optimized for vehicle weight, it could potentially run 13s. I see many people run way too large of a cam for their combo, then wonder why performance suffers. My old C5 went 11.63@115.1 on a stock unopened motor and heads/cam cars had trouble with me if they didn't do their homework. Just like our Buicks, it's all in the combo
