Why is my scanmaster not working???

Ok. I got my scanmaster hooked up properly. The only thing I'm wondering is if I need to have a power logger for this scanmaster to work? I'm going to attach some pics of what I'm seeing in start up and running. Any help would be appreciated

Yes Scanmaster 2.2 requires a powerlogger to work. You can switch it over to a 2.1 chip it will be fine.

It tells me download fail. I can't open the attachment. I don't have a PL is that a problem?

You have to have a PL to work a SM on 2.2 , you need 2.1 chip to run it without a PL , need to find a chip and replace it in the SM and you will be up and flying using the factory diagnostic port . If you ever decide the get a PL later you have the chip 2.2 for faster updates on the SM . That is what I use and love it .

Is it pretty easy to change the chip. I'd be willing to take it off your hands if you do have one

It depends on the type chip in the scanmaster. The chip's I have are for later models. PM me an address and I'll PM me an address and I'll figure out shipping
