An EGT is still important, but a wideband is the ultimate in tuning tools, especially on forced induction. Drew

the wideband commander is not as nice as an innovate wide band o2 meter. YOu need also the rpm converter with it otherwise its a waste of time. YOu can datalog at 12 frames per second, boost, egt, rpm, tps for 44 minutes, use it to similate a narrow band o2, or wideband output to your aftermarket ecu. They do have a guage out also that you can see the a/f while driving. Also you can map the fuel curve and see where your rich and lean. You can use a ntk sensor or the bosch sensor, with a switch inside you can choose between the sensors. The sensor does not have to be calibrated as you do a free air calibration, any replacement sensor will work.

However there are a few precautions you must take when using the lm-1 becuase if you dont the sensor life WILL BE very Short
