I have a single walbro 340 pump that is hotwired.I am making the upgrade to 83# injectors and I want to know if it can handle them at 24# of boost .If not, could another pump like the holley 255LPH pump be used in line with the 340 without problems?

A hotwired 340 would not support 55's at 90% DC and 24psi boost on my car. FP would fall off QUICK as soon as boost hit. DP does the trick now even w/ my new 83's.

You must be upgrading your turbo big time as 83lbs are larger than Jason Cramer used on his high nine pass (72lb).

I would also look at your feedline and rail size to help out fuel volume for any injector size. CAS is the only vendor to have a 8an rail that bolts on (that I have seen). So, hopefully someone else will come out with one so we can all upgrade to this sometime soon.

Yes I am going big.But that is later.I have a TA block that I will be starting on as soon as I receive it.I will probably be using a 76 or bigger.I have been having a problem getting enough fuel in the 1/4 from the 50s so I decided to step up to 83s and skip 72s.I was going to hold off on this, but I posted that I wanted a 50# ME chip and was sold one that was actually for 55s I found out.I contacted Steve Y and he said he could set it up for 50s but it would cost the same as an upgrade and I decided to go ahead and do it.

I'm gonna put together a 4.5 liter beast.I want to possibly hit the 8s whenever I want to.I want to run in the 9s on like 15# of boost. Then turn it up as needed to whoop A$$.I know 8s will probably require 160#s and a even bigger fuel pump but the DP and 83s will get me used to it.Now I just gotta recieve that block so I can get started.
