Will a scanmaster work for hot-air cars?

I had heard that a scanmaster does not work for hot-air cars...is this true?...if it doesn't, what can I use as a scan tool? thanks

no, it will work if you do the 87 ECM conversion..

t-link works with an 84/85 ecm but it shows more data with an 87 ecm..

best bet.. switch over to the 87 ecm
