i was wondering if an alky kit help my cars lean condition.although it runs good, not sure if this reading is normal.
the fuel pressure is at 48-50 w/vac line off.if i lower it i get more knock. my autometer air/fuel gauge reads a lot of red and some yellow(this reading is on an almost full throttle)
theres no knock untill it reaches about 90-95mph,boost about 11-12psi,but this car used to go 15-16psi.im not sure of rpms.theres no vacum leaks.car has 33lbs injectors,70mm throttlebody, ported heads, t49,hooker exhaust,
i rather not change injectors as for the 33's are new.but i was thinking of wether a 7th injector setup or an alky kit would
fix the lean condition.

i am in need of a scan tool, which is next on my need to buy list.

need help,and suggestions!

Spend the bucks and buy some injectors. You're beyond the bandaid phase, you need a tourniquet.

Specifically, if your heads are worth a hill of beans, you have moved way paste what a set of 33lb injectors will support.

33's are too small for a TA49.

Run the Red's chip instead of the pitbull, it may help your problem

Turn the FP down, you are way too high and the extra fuel will wash down the cylinder walls and cause wear

As was stated above, you are trying to cover the problem instead of fixing it. Get your car running good at a sensible FP level before you change anything
