Will front rims fit on the rear?

Will the stock front rims fit on the rear of our cars? I know they are different backspacing but it looks like they would just stick out about 1" more than rears which would be fine for my ET-Streets since they barely rub the inner fenders.

Has anybody done it, if so how did it work?

Sure, that will work just fine. The PAS Firehawk teams of the 80's and 90's preferred to use the front rims all the way around. Easy swapping and they saw no loss in performance on the track. I have all fronts on the Black ECV TTA.

Now its time to hit up a buddy for the rims he has on his camaro so I can mount my real tires and get better than a 1.9 60ft
