Window Seals

Can anyone tell me how to change the rear side window seals? I am striping the car for restoration and do not want to break them.. Also would anyone know the replacement part #s for the window seals/gaskets?

There are no seals. Factory just used butyl sealer. Quite messy to remove from the rubber seal that surrounds the glass. After removing mine, I didn't use any sealer when I replaced the glass.

What about the rubber that is between the glass and the car?

I'd be surprised if you could buy that gasket. Also, it seems pretty hard to remove. As I recall, I made a small attempt at it and it seemed as though it doesn't come off. If your rubber gasket is messed up, I'd suggest getting different side glass.

Well I was hoping to remove those windows as well to get a true paint without any gaskets/fillers/windows..

I'm not sure what you're saying........Just unbolt windows from inside the car and push them out. The glass and the rubber gasket around it come out as a unit. End of story.
