How do I go about obtaining a reproduction Window Sticker for my car??

Do you have a copy of your original? If so, I can send you a Word file and you can make your own. PM if you want the file. Brad

No I dont have the original sticker. I am the 3rd owner. It was not in the paperwork I was given.:eek:

As Jim has pointed out above and we have covered in our books only one company I am aware of is fully licensed by GM to make original style window stickers. This company originally started by doing the Corvettes (So you know they are good) He then expanded to other markets.

Since you have no paperwork some info you will need you may not be able to provide such as the original selling dealership. You can rundown all your options based on the trunk ID label which contains the codes listing your options.

You don't indicate what model turbo regal you got but if its GN for 1987 that can be s somewhat tricky.....by tricky I mean prior to the last 10,000 built it will be titled as a Regal coupe with the GN being an option....the last 10,000 where titled originally as a Grand National.

You probably will not be able to get a window sticker that is 100% correct but if you take your time and give the info correctly you should be able to come close.

Run a car fax that may nail down who the original selling dealership is or was and if its a small town listed you may be able to nail down the original dealership...if so they may have records if dealership has stayed in the same hands all these years.

GNTTYPE used to have it that you could download and print.

I have a copy of one I did.

If you want, get me an email and I can scan it to you, or fax.

I gotta find it first, it's in the garage.

Dennis I was shocked when I had the one done for my 87. I didn't know much about the car and I was shocked he got it pretty much 99% accurate and dead on. He found the dealer (and it was correct) and printed it as a Grand National. My 87 was a late build car. I gave him the vin, options, and picture of the RPO sticker. He found the rest. The only thing that stumped him was the 2 big letters on the bottom right. He didn't know what they meant and what belong with what cars. As seen below on my 86 GN I already had the original to show him so he put the letters on that one but that seems like the only thing he can't figure out. I don't know where he gets his info but it's good!

I had one done for my 86 but I have the original one. I just scanned the original one and sent it to him as I didn't want to damage the original one for the car. So I use the one they made for my 86 as well. Here is how it looks...

X2 for the invoice. I ordered the invoice first and forwarded a copy which they used to create my window sticker.

Thank you very much.

I have all the paperwork that came with the car minus the window sticker. I know the dealership where it was purchased. The didnt travel too far. I bought it from a guy who lived 2 blocks from the originating dealership and it is currently stored 1 block from the same dealership. So hopefully I can obtain the paperwork I am looking for.

Thanks again.

 A VERY BIG THANK YOU for the info...placing order now!!! I'm the same...I love to have paper work on all my cars. The GN I recently purchased unfortunately did not have any with it :(.
