windshieds trim and fender trim

does anyone know how to take the chrome of the window trims,fender trims and other chrome parts without having to sandblast it, i heard thats theres some type of spray or liquid that takes it of and only takes about an hour to work. does anybody have any ideas how to take of the chrome. im trying to get mine painted satin black right after the chrome is of.

the only way to remove chrome is an acid /electro bath but if you are looking to paint you can aquire an adhesive primer which coats the chrome and makes paint stick like iron prime is designed for just that purpose
